WELCOME

Following the tradition of previous meetings, the 8th IAC has been organised in Málaga (Spain) and, on this occasion, it is dedicated to Translational Research. TR is a way of conceiving, reflecting on and conducting scientific research to make the results applicable to the population quickly and efficiently, in this case in the field of ORL. Its influence on clinical practice is consequently strong and its strategic value increasing.

The University of Málaga is a new developing university with great interest in this area. The UMA is well established in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia in Málaga, where it has recently promoted its new Bionanotechnology Center and launched an Interuniversity Campus: Andalucia-Tech, in collaboration with the University of Sevilla.

Malaga has an international reputation owing to a high economic activity, a multicultural population that enjoys a quasi-tropical climate and an interesting, diverse cultural offering.

We are organizing this event to provide the ENT scientific community with the opportunity to discuss this important emerging topic and visit Málaga.
